Winston is my puppy. He is a mutt currently a year old and weighs in at a hefty 25 lbs. He loves to be outdoors but dislikes the cold and is always on the hunt for his arch nemesis the evil squirrels.
Winston is a rescue he was surrendered along with 5 of his brothers and sisters to the Animal Protection League (APL) in Springfield Illinois. Friends of mine were contacted by the APL on New Year’s Eve 2021 asking for help taking care of part of a litter. I had been invited over for the evening’s festivities at their house and the rest is history.
Everything is new to him and when we find his favorite toys and adventure gear snacks etc we will post some of those here as well.
